Creates a wipeout object, and controls whether wipeout frames are displayed in the drawing.
Creates a polygonal area that masks underlying objects with the current background color. The wipeout area is bounded by a frame that you can turn on or off. You can also choose to display the frame on screen and have it hidden for plotting.
Create polygon object with a lot of sides 2. Type wipeout (enter) 3. Type P (enter), and select polygon object (enter) 4. Choose Yes to erase polygon obje. So a wipeout that's 14 inches in the model will show up as 1 ¼ inches or whatever, depending on the scale the viewport is set to. Of course, when you make a wipeout out of an existing polygon, you can tell it to either delete the original polygon or leave it there. The program offers two commands: cwipe allows the user to specify a center & radius and will construct a circular wipeout from these parameters, with all properties (such as Layer, Linetype, Lineweight etc.) inherited from the current settings in AutoCAD when the program is run; c2wipe will allow the user to convert a selection of circle objects to circular wipeouts, with the wipeouts matching all properties of the original circles.
